God's Perfects Gifts

Hey Everybody,

Have you ever considered that the trial you might be going through is a gift from God? James 1:17 tells us: Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavently lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

God's gifts are not just OK, they are good and perfect! His perfect gifts also include the trials that he brings into your life! This may be a hard pill to swallow, but it is true (Guckelberg, James, p. 51). The trial you may be enduring could be producing greater levels of trust, prayer, and a more godly character, which is of utmost importance to God.
